About Us

The Shikshana Prasaraka Mandali, founded in 1888, is one of the pioneer Educational Societies in the State of Maharashtra. It has almost 133 years of contribution to the development of quality education by establishing Institutions in various places like Pune, Mumbai, Solapur, Chiplun, Nagothane, Bangaluru etc. and imparting education from Kindergarten to Post-graduate level and through Management Institutes and Research Centres.

Prin.N.G.Naralkar Institute of Career Development and Research, Pune was started by the S.P.Mandali in 1986 to commemorate the memory of Late Prin.N.G. alias Nanasaheb Naralkar, an educationist of great foresight and repute. Nanasaheb Naralkar is a name to conjure with. The Naralkar Institute is a standing symbol of the spread of Learning Culture through the modern medium of management education. The aim and the purpose of the Institute is to create a brand of new-generation students who will be marked by an uncommon degree of competence and commitment. Value driven management is the need of the hour in the context of contemporary times. The Institute lays stress on fulfilling that need.

The Naralkar Institute is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University . The Institute has Audio-visual Class rooms & well-equipped Computer Labs.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

  • PEO1: Graduates of the MBA program will successfully integrate core, cross-functional and inter-disciplinary aspects of management theories, models and frameworks with the real-world practices and the sector specific nuances to provide solutions to real world business, policy and social issues in a dynamic and complex world.

  • PEO2: Graduates of the MBA program will possess excellent communication skills, excel in cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams, and have an appreciation for local, domestic and global contexts so as to manage continuity, change, risk, ambiguity and complexity.

  • PEO3: Graduates of the MBA program will be appreciative of the significance of Indian ethos and values in managerial decision making and exhibit value centered leadership.
